Worksop and the villages around it are some of our most reliable ground. The summer calendar here runs through Bassetlaw District Council's park fairs, the Carlton in Lindrick parish gala on its July weekend, school fairs at the academies across town, and youth-centre evenings for the police community team. We've been part of those bookings for years, and the same names come back every summer.
The kit that gets asked for matches the events: parish and council fairs want the games row and the food alongside a couple of big rides; school fairs run the juvenile rides and stalls; town events want something compact that earns its patch on a crowded field. Bassetlaw sits between our Rotherham warehouse and the Lincolnshire side of Nottinghamshire, so Worksop is a short run for us on any weekend.
