Doncaster sits a fair bit out to the east of the warehouse, and we run kit out that way as a matter of routine - our own transport, our own crew, and the kit back at the warehouse when we load out. Doncaster Metropolitan Council is one of our long-standing clients, and the bookings that follow it take in civic events, community festivals and the winter markets.
Doncaster's big public spaces give a funfair room to breathe. A town square can take the centrepiece-plus-stalls shape - the dodgem track or a helter skelter with a games row under it - while the parks and show fields take the full ride list, waltzer, ghost train and juniors included. We'll come out to look at the ground before we commit, which keeps surprises down to the weather.
