Fairground ride hire at Newark Showground

The showground sits on Lincoln Road at Winthorpe, on Newark's northern edge - flat, open and big enough to take a full funfair without the crowd feeling pushed into it. It's earned its place as one of the venues we know best, mostly because of the spring scout camps: over one weekend the funfair runs all day for the camp, and the extension hires push the dodgems and the twister on into the evening once the daylight visitors have gone - a format you won't find at a village fete.

We've built that camp funfair twice in recent years, and the kit that got asked for back tells you what this site takes: dodgems and a twister as the centrepiece, chair-o-planes above them, and the games row and food underneath. The showground also sees lighter bookings - helters up for a funfair operator who wanted extra slide capacity, and a stage and PA for showground events - so a single ride can sit alongside a programme you've organised yourselves.
