A full-size fairground Waltzer

The Waltzer is one of the rides that makes an event look like a funfair rather than a collection of separate attractions. It has the covered circular deck, freely spinning cars and a broad, illuminated frontage that gives the ride a fair bit of presence even before it starts moving.

This is the Andrew Harniess Waltzer shown in the photograph and video below. The silver front runs right across the loading platform, with HARNIESS WALTZER picked out above it in coloured lights. It suits corporate family fun days, town-centre fairs and larger outdoor events where the main ride needs to hold its own across a field.

We can supply the Waltzer by itself or place it alongside the Dodgems, ferris wheel, ghost train and a row of side stalls. The current hire price starts at £2,995 plus VAT; the delivered quote depends on the venue, date, operating hours and access.

Planning a Waltzer Hire

How much does it cost to hire the Waltzer?

Hire starts at £2,995 plus VAT. The delivered total depends on the venue, date, operating hours, access and any power or site requirements. Send us those details and we'll return a written quote rather than a vague estimate.

How much space does the Waltzer need?

We confirm the working footprint for the exact installation during the quote. Using measurements from a different Waltzer would be a poor way to plan vehicle access and clearance around a mechanical ride, so we check before giving you a figure.

Can the Waltzer go on grass?

Yes, provided the levels, access and ground conditions are suitable. Hard surfaces, concrete, wood chip and mixed ground can work too; we check the actual site from your plan and photographs rather than deciding from the surface name alone.

What power does the Waltzer need?

We confirm the supply or generator requirement in the quote. It must be checked against the installation being supplied and the way the event site is powered, so we do not give a generic figure and leave the organiser to make it fit.

Is the Waltzer staffed and are there rider restrictions?
