The Jump and Smile is a children's spinning ride with themed
cars - including frog carriages - on a circular platform with
a rainbow-gradient edge and white starbursts. The centre hub is
a multi-faceted geometric structure in yellow, orange and green,
studded with dome-shaped bulbs, with a tall sign reading "Jump
and Smile" on top. It does what it says on the tin.
The cars circle the platform on arms that lift and dip as they
turn, giving small children a gentle ride with enough movement
to be exciting without being scary. It's the ride that fills
the gap between the toddler rides and the bigger juvenile kit
like the Mini Waltzer - the ones who
have outgrown the teacups but aren't ready for the full-size
waltzer yet.
It comes staffed with its own self-contained generator and flood
lighting at no extra charge. Takes a 20ft x 20ft footprint
and goes on grass or hard standing.
