A race ride for the younger end of the fair

Race-a-Rama is our Cars-themed platform ride. The little cars on the deck are painted up as Lightning McQueen, Mater and Chick Hicks, with more of the Radiator Springs crowd on the front panels, and the checkered-flag racing theme runs from the tyre arch above the marquee down to the skirting round the base.

Riders pick their car and travel round the platform together, so children and adults can ride it as a family. It suits the same bookings as our other family kit - fetes, festivals, school events and corporate fun days - and it gives the younger children a ride of their own without them having to stretch to the Dodgems or the Waltzer just yet.

The ride sits on a raised deck with entrance steps either side of the front, a safety fence around the platform and an enclosed operator booth at its centre, so it reads as a proper fairground ride rather than a supervised activity. Race-a-Rama at Your Event

  • Character Cars

    The cars on the platform carry Lightning McQueen, Mater and Chick Hicks paintwork, with more of the Radiator Springs characters on the painted front panels.

  • Checkered Racing Frontage

    Racing flags run along the roofline and a tyre-arch sign sits above the marquee, so the theme carries across the whole frontage rather than stopping at the cars.

  • Raised Platform

    The cars travel round a raised deck with entrance steps to either side of the front, red skirting round the base and a safety fence around the working platform.

  • Children and Adults

    It is a family ride in the proper sense, with children and adults able to ride together. Age and height rules apply and are confirmed with your quote.

  • Operated Ride

    A trained operator runs the ride from the enclosed booth on the platform, loading and unloading each cycle and watching the riders throughout.

  • Nationwide Hire

    We deliver from Rotherham to events across the UK, either as a single ride or within a larger funfair package.

Space, surface and access

We plan the working area around the ride, its queue, barriers and the setup route rather than quoting one fixed footprint, so send us the usable dimensions and we will tell you whether the proposed position works.

A site plan is the most useful thing you can send. Gate widths, turns, slopes, overhead obstructions and the state of the ground on the vehicle route all need checking along with the space for the ride itself, and photographs of the approach answer most of it in one go.

Tell us the surface as well. Platform rides need firm, level standing, and we would sooner confirm the details with you before booking than discover them on the day.
