The Miami Crazy Dance is a full-size mechanical fairground ride
with 20 places arranged across a single long bench. Guests load from
the raised platform at the front, with individual seats and
overhead restraints visible along the full width of the ride.
The painted MIAMI FEVER backflash, rows of coloured bulbs and
broad frontboards give it a proper presence without taking up the
ground area of some circular rides. The ride itself occupies 45ft
x 15ft and stands 25ft high, so it can sit alongside the
Dodgems, Ghost Train
or a row of stalls without disappearing between them.
It works particularly well at corporate fun days, public fairs and
larger private events where you want a quicker ride with a decent
number of guests aboard each cycle.
The long bench holds up to 20 riders at a time, subject to the applicable height restriction and the operator's instructions.
Full Painted Frontage
The Miami Fever backflash, bulb lighting, loading platform, frontboards and control booth form one complete travelling ride.
50ft x 20ft Working Area
The ride occupies 45ft x 15ft, with a minimum 50ft x 20ft area required for the installation and its immediate clearance.
Height Rule Confirmed
A minimum rider height applies. We confirm the exact restriction before booking rather than giving organisers an unverified figure.
Good Access Required
The vehicle route, gates, turns and final approach must suit the ride transport. We check these details against the site plan.
Written Site Details
Staffing, power, operating hours, rider rules and the delivered price are set out in the event quote before the booking is agreed.
Space, height and surface
The ride measures 45ft x 15ft and stands 25ft high. The
stated minimum working area is 50ft x 20ft, with 26ft of clear
height. We still need to account for the queue, barriers, crew and
the route used to bring the ride into position, so send the usable
dimensions rather than measuring only the patch beneath the ride.
Grass and suitable hard surfaces can work outdoors. Indoor setup is
possible where the access and clear height are sufficient. The
listed surface suitability varies between types of hard ground, so
we confirm concrete, mixed ground and other particular surfaces from
photographs and a site plan rather than assuming they are suitable.
Good vehicle access is required. Include gate widths, tight turns,
overhead obstructions, slopes and the condition of the approach when
you enquire, particularly for fields and town-centre sites where the
final position may be some distance from the road.

This film shows the Miami Crazy Dance working with riders aboard and
gives a clearer sense of the height, pace and movement than a still

Common Questions
How much does Miami Crazy Dance hire cost?
Hire starts at £2,595 plus VAT. The delivered total depends on the event postcode, date, access, operating hours, power arrangements and whether the ride forms part of a larger package.
How much space does the Miami need?
The ride measures 45ft x 15ft and requires at least 50ft x 20ft, with 26ft of clear height for a ride standing 25ft high. Queue, barrier and transport space also need to be allowed for.
How many people can ride at once?
The bench holds up to 20 riders. A minimum height rule applies, and we confirm the exact restriction for the event before booking.
Can the Miami go on grass?
Yes, subject to the ground and vehicle access being suitable. It can also work on suitable hard standing and indoors where there is enough clear height. Send photographs and a site plan so we can check the particular surface and route.
What power and staffing does the ride need?
Power and staffing are confirmed in the written quote for the particular event. Tell us the available supply and operating times when you enquire, and we will set out any generator and operator provision before the booking is agreed.
