Three floors, and a slide out of the top

This is the three-deck version of our funhouse - the one where the walkthrough gains a whole extra floor and the way down becomes a slide instead of a staircase. Visitors work up through three floors of obstacles - ramps, hanging cylinders and open balcony sections - cross the rotating barrel on the way round, and finish on the tube slide, an enclosed spiral that runs down the right-hand wall and sets them back on the grass.

The front board is painted in proper fairground style - the FUN HOUSE name in big bubble letters, a lion and a camel peering over the balconies, balloon-arch bars round the entrance and coloured railing work along both walks. It reads as the main event from anywhere on a field.

It takes a 73ft x 50ft footprint, stands 20ft tall and needs 100ft x 75ft clear once the queue lanes and safety margins are in - a large venue with good vehicle access. It works outdoors on grass, concrete, hard standing or wood chip, and indoors on a hard floor or artificial grass where an indoor venue has the height for it.

The 3-Deck Funhouse at Your Event

    Three decks of ramps, walkways and open balcony sections to work through, with hanging cylinders along the way. The top floor is the highest walkthrough level we put on a field.

    An enclosed tube slide hugs the right-hand side of all three decks, taking riders from the top floor back down to the grass.

  • The Rotating Barrel

    The classic barrel is part of the walkthrough - you cross it while it revolves under your feet, an old-fashioned bit of fun that still raises a laugh.

  • Painted Fair Frontage

    Bubble-letter name board, painted cartoon characters over every level, coloured railing work and scalloped trim along the roofline, set off with fairground bulbs.

  • Indoors or Outdoors

    It goes on grass, concrete, hard standing or wood chip, and indoors on hard floors for venues with the 20ft of height it needs - indoor bookings should send ceiling and access sizes for confirmation.

It's one of the largest attractions we carry at 73ft x 50ft, with 100ft x 75ft wanted clear - if the budget is sized for something smaller, the two-floor Funhouse is the same idea on one fewer floor.

On the field it goes well beside the Ghost Train, the Dodgems, the Waltzer and the Ferris Wheel - or with the giant helter skelters and mega slides, with room round it for the rides and the side stalls.
