Nottinghamshire is where our strongest funfair bookings cluster. The multi-day scout-camp funfairs at Newark Showground run in most springs - dodgems, twister and chair-o-planes over a whole weekend - and the corporate fun days around the county have become an annual fixture: the big rides at the fulfilment sites west of the city one month, a games row for a garden-centre-adjacent retail site the next. Even the smaller bookings have a habit of turning into repeat ones.
The city itself takes the compact shape - a centrepiece ride and a row of stalls for community events in parks and on college ground - while the county sites out at Newark, Worksop and the colliery villages have room for the full spread. All of it is delivered, built and staffed from the warehouse at Rotherham in one run.
