We're Rotherham-based, so Sheffield is the big city next door to the warehouse, and it goes back the furthest with us. Sheffield City Council is one of our long-standing clients, and most of the work we do there has grown out of that sort of booking: corporate fun days, community festivals and the big civic moments in the calendar.
Sheffield's outdoor kit list tends to split two ways. Town events want a centrepiece you can see across a square - the ferris wheel, or the dodgem track with its lighting - with a row of stalls under it to give the event its shape. Fields and parks take the full funfair, with the waltzer, the ghost train and the juniors' rides around the big ones. The waltzer has done community events on City Road in S2, and the games row and fun food are regular sights at the markets and community grounds around the city. Either way we deliver, set up, staff and collect from the same crew, and we work around your access arrangements rather than the other way round.
