Whack-a-mole's Christmas cousin

You'll hear this one called Smash A Snowman or Snowman Smash too - whatever the writing on the van says, it's our whack-a- mole in a winter coat: the same two-player reaction game with the same soft mallets and tally screen, wrapped for December in snowmen, snowflakes and bare branches. Two players get tethered mallets, the pads light, and whichever score stands highest when the timer dies wins the bragging.

Coins stay in pockets - it's free play, anyone can step up - and the counter height works for small children as much as grown adults, so the queue rarely sorts itself by age. Under it: carpet, a hard floor or artificial grass in a hall; and outside it'll sit on a street surface where the props would tip.

The LED strip and the scoreboard bring half the audience to the cabinet by themselves, nobody announcing anything. And if the cabinet is heading somewhere with a brand on the wall, reply with your own on the wrap - logo, colours, tagline - which is worth its keep on stands where people stay a whole game rather than glance past.

    Two soft-headed mallets tethered to the cabinet, so nothing wanders off mid-event and players can swing properly.

    Each hit lands on a live tally and the twin score display settles the game in the open, with a blue LED strip carrying the cabinet's glow right across a hall.

    No coins, no tokens: players step up, play, step off, and the queue keeps itself moving at the busy times.

    A counter-height cabinet that suits primary-age players and grown adults in the same queue, working at family fairs and office parties alike.

  • Street or Hall

    Outdoor ratings cover grass, tarmac, concrete and the mixed grass-and-hard ground; indoor cover takes carpet, hard floor or artificial grass.

  • Bespoke Wrap Option

Size, space and power

The cabinet covers 12ft x 12ft and tops 8ft high. Round it up to 13ft x 13ft with 9ft clear and two players can swing the mallets without finding each other's elbows.

A standard mains socket nearby does the job. On an outdoor pitch with no hook-up, we can bring a generator - say so at quote time and the two prices travel together.

How much space does it need?
