Twenty feet of Father Christmas, marking the spot

A full 20ft of inflatable Father Christmas, working the crowd from above: the blower in his base keeps the fabric alive so he bows, waves and folds double on the loop, all day and never tired of it. Six metres puts his head above market stalls, shop fronts and parked vans alike - across a retail-park car park, from the far end of a market, you'll spot him before you spot the stall you came for.

Which is the point of him. He is the arrow over the market gate, the marker of where a grotto queue forms, the thing people aim for when they leave the switch-on square. Children wave first and ask questions later; their parents follow them in. Come evening, external lighting turns the cloth red-sky bright, so the pointing keeps going after dark.

Hire starts at £75 plus VAT with delivery, anchoring and setup bundled in by our own team. Setup is short - blower down, Santa clips on, within sixty seconds he's mid-wave - and after that nobody minds him; the socket does the work.

The Santa Sky Dancer at Your Event

  • Six Metres Tall

    The 20ft figure is visible from the far end of a market or across a car park, with a printed face, belt and white trim that read properly up close.

  • High-Pressure Blower Base

    The blower base sits at around 4ft x 4ft and keeps the figure waving, bowing and folding double in a loop all day.

  • Glows Red After Dark

    Under external lighting the red fabric glows, so the dancer keeps marking the spot through evening switch-ons and late trading.

  • Runs on a 13-Amp Plug

    A standard socket within cable reach runs him. On sites without mains, one of our generators goes alongside.

What he stands beside

Rotherham Hospice's Winter Fest had him overhead with our rodeo reindeer and trampolines, our own generators on the power, and he's fronted children's Christmas parties next to Santa's grotto more than once.

The cheapest way to mark a market entrance

Measured against the rest of the Christmas range, the dancer is the least money per metre of attention on the site: £75 buys six metres of moving Father Christmas over the top of the crowd, and the grotto queue shortens because people can simply see which way to walk.

Town-centre markets, retail parks and switch-on squares are his usual weeks each December, and pushchair-age children become hsi regular public - waving back at him whether their parents are watching or not.

How much does the Santa sky dancer cost?

From £75 plus VAT, and that includes delivery, anchoring and setup by our own team. It's the cheapest flag in the Christmas range, and it travels with larger bookings as part of one delivery; confirm any combined-delivery terms in the quote.

How much space does he need?

The blower base takes around 4ft x 4ft, and the figure wants 12ft x 12ft of clear floor plus 22ft of headroom - so marquees are out, but squares and forecourts are his natural home.

Does he need power?

One 13-amp socket the cable can reach. Sites with no mains get a generator from us, priced with the dancer.

What happens in wind?

Light rain doesn't bother the cloth. When the forecast turns windy we either ballast him heavily or move him to a sheltered corner, and we settle that with you before leaving site.

Does he need an attendant?

Setup runs a few minutes - blower down, Santa clipped on and moving inside the minute - then the socket does the work and nobody stands over him.

Can he stand beside the grotto?

That's the classic placement - he marks where the grotto queue starts while the grotto itself carries the visit. The grotto and sky dancer book together on the same delivery.
