Prize Wheel with red and white segments, 32 numbered spaces and a ring of bulb lights around the rim

Prize Wheel

Hire from £395.

Spin to win

The Prize Wheel is the spinning wheel you'll have seen on exhibition stands and at the end of a stall row - also called Spin the Wheel, Spin to Win, or when it's the electronic version, a Wheel of Fortune. It's a freestanding floor unit on its own white plinth, with a striped column and a pointer flapper at the top that clicks round as the wheel slows. Someone gives it a spin, the flapper ticks down, and wherever it stops is what they've won.

The face is split into 32 numbered segments. In its standard finish it's a red-and-white circus design with an ornate gold banner across the middle and a ring of bulb lights round the rim, but the whole thing - wheel face and column both - is built to be wrapped in your own branding. The prizes on each segment and the odds of landing on them are all yours to set.

That's what makes it different from the other stalls on the row. The Coconut Shy and Hook-a-Duck are fairground games; the Prize Wheel is a promotional tool that happens to look like one.

The Prize Wheel at Your Event

  • 32 Segments

The face splits into 32 numbered segments, each one a prize slot. The prizes and the odds are yours to set - every segment can be different.

  • Fully Brandable

The whole unit - wheel face and column both - can be wrapped in your colours, your logo and your prizes. It comes standard in red and white circus, or branded clean for the hire.

  • No Power Needed

The wheel is mechanical - a spin and a flapper, no electronics. It goes on a field, a closed road or a town square without a generator.

  • Data Capture or Fundraising

Because it draws a queue, it's a natural for data capture at promotions (spin the wheel, leave your email) or for fundraising (charge per spin, prize every time).

  • Freestanding Plinth

It's a floor unit on its own white plinth with a striped column - no table needed, no backdrop needed. It stands alone at a promotion or at the end of a stall row.

  • £5m Public Liability

Five million pounds of public liability insurance on every booking, with the risk assessments and method statements a council or venue procurement team will ask for.

What's included

  • The Prize Wheel unit on its white plinth and striped column
  • The 32-segment wheel face in standard red-and-white, or branded with your artwork for the hire
  • The pointer flapper and bulb-lit rim
  • Delivery, setup and collection by our own team
  • £5m public liability insurance as standard

Staffing is optional on this one. We can supply one of our team to run the wheel, or your own people can - it's simple enough to hand to a steward with a briefing. Prizes and branding are quoted separately; ask for the options when you enquire.

Planning the hire

Tell us the event date, postcode, what the wheel is for (promotion, fundraiser, or just a fairground stall) and whether you want it branded, and we'll quote from there.

Hire starts at £395, with branding and prizes quoted on top. It goes out for hours or a full day, and longer-term bookings for promotions are priced differently - tell us what you're running and we'll shape it.

It sits at the end of a side-stall row as well as alone on a stand, and it pairs with the High Striker for the competitive end of a fair.

Where it's been

The wheel goes out to three kinds of work. A large pizza company branded the whole face for a freshers fair and used it to give out free slices, drinks and the occasional "better luck next time" - and to collect student email addresses for a mailing list, one spin at a time. A Sheffield bar opening used it to give away free shots and drink vouchers to anyone spending over a fiver, and we staffed it so the bar team could get on behind the bar. A local charity ran it at a quiz night to raise funds, charging per spin with a prize every time and the charity's logo across the face.

The pattern's the same in all three: the wheel draws a crowd, the crowd gives you their attention, and what they get for it is yours to set.

Common Questions

How much does Prize Wheel hire cost?

Hire starts at £395. Branding and prizes are quoted on top, and the total depends on the postcode, duration and whether it forms part of a package. Send the date and what it's for and we'll come back with a figure.

Can the wheel be branded with our logo?

Yes - the whole unit, wheel face and column both, can be wrapped in your colours, your logo and your prizes. It comes standard in red-and-white circus, or branded clean for the hire.

Can we set the prizes and the odds?

Yes. The face splits into 32 segments and each one is yours to set - different prizes on different segments, and the odds of landing on each are yours to configure.

Does it need power?

No. The wheel is mechanical - a spin and a flapper, no electronics. It goes on a field, a closed road or a town square without a generator.

Is it staffed?

Staffing is optional. We can supply one of our team to run it, or your own people can - it's simple enough to hand to a steward with a briefing. Say which you'd prefer when you enquire.
