The rodeo bull is a mechanical bull that bucks, spins and throws you off. You hold the horns, try to stay on, and aim to outlast everyone else while our operator dials the speed up a notch at a time. A digital timer on the front clocks each ride, so the whole room knows exactly who's on top.

We can run leaderboard competitions across the event with certificates for the top riders - the competitive edge that makes it work at corporate bookings. At a typical 3-hour hire you'll get through 40 to 60 riders depending on how brave the crowd is. Our operator runs the whole thing from a handheld unit and adjusts the difficulty per rider - a nervous first-timer gets a gentle warm-up, the colleague who reckons they're a natural gets the full treatment.

When they come off - and they will - they land on an inflatable cushioned bed with safety matting around the outside. Themed attachments fit the same base unit: a sheep, a surfboard, a giant football, and seasonal options for Christmas and Halloween.

The Rodeo Bull at Your Event

  • Digital Timer and Leaderboards

    A large digital timer clocks each ride so the whole room can see. We can set up a leaderboard for the event and print certificates for the top riders.

  • Trained Operator

    A trained DB operator controls the bull from a handheld unit, adjusting the difficulty per rider. Everything's handled - delivery, setup, operation and pack-down.

  • Inflatable Safety Bed

    When riders come off they land on an inflatable cushioned bed with safety matting around the outside. The surround is part of the hire, not an add-on.

  • Themed Attachments

    The same base unit takes a sheep, a surfboard, a giant football and seasonal options for Christmas and Halloween. Swap the theme to match your event.

  • Indoor or Outdoor

    Needs a clear area of 16ft x 16ft with 3ft 3in access through doorways or gates. Works indoors and outdoors on any surface.

  • £5m Public Liability

    £5 million public liability insurance, risk assessments and method statements included. Free local delivery, setup and collection between 8am and 6pm.

Space and access

The bull needs a clear area of 16ft x 16ft (roughly 5m x 5m), with a minimum of 3ft 3in access through doorways or gates. It works indoors and outdoors - the inflatable bed sits on grass, hard standing, carpet or a sports hall floor.

Power needs are modest: two standard 13A sockets within 25m. No mains? We supply generators. We arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your start time to set up.

Standard hire is 3 hours for £395, with additional hours at £50/hr. One rider at a time, minimum age 10 and minimum height 1.1m. For younger children aged 3+, we have a gentler bucking bronco that doesn't spin.

Staff work until 10pm as standard; later by arrangement. Free PA system and floodlights on request for outdoor events.

It pairs with the side stalls and food carts for a full event - the rodeo bull pulls the crowd, the stalls keep them spending.

Where it's been

We've been hiring rodeo bulls out from our Rotherham warehouse since 1999. Clients including Amazon, Specsavers and councils across South and West Yorkshire book us because everything's handled - delivery, setup, the operator, the insurance, the paperwork. One supplier, one invoice.

It goes out to corporate team-building days, university freshers weeks, Christmas parties, charity fundraisers and town-centre weekends. The leaderboard competition is what makes it work at a corporate event - people who'd never volunteer for a ride will have a go if there's a certificate and a rival to beat.
